Architecture: EAI
Just a quicky. My last post was about something I noticed in the MSDN Patterns & Practices section. I was also looking at this article, which deals with EAI.
This ia a good article, if nothing else. But if you are actually doing EAI, when you finish reading it make sure you head on over to the Enterprise Integration Patterns home page. In case you're wondering, that is how you do this kind of stuff. The patterns presented in the MSDN article are OK, but not exactly enlightening. Sometimes we tend to take whatever comes out of there as the end-all of software development. Trust me, there's a lot of good stuff out there. Don't forget to look around a bit and get other perspectives.
